The Cricket Association of Nepal in Kathmandu District is excited to announce the upcoming events and tournaments for all cricket enthusiasts! As Nepal continues to emerge as a major cricketing nation, we are proud to host a series of exciting events and tournaments that will showcase the talent and passion of our players.
First up, we have the Annual Kathmandu District Cricket Championship, which will be held from 20th to 25th July. This tournament will see top teams from Kathmandu District battle it out for the championship trophy. The matches will be held at the renowned Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground and we invite all fans to come and support their favorite teams.
In August, we have the much-anticipated Nepal Premier League – Kathmandu District Edition. This T20 tournament will feature six teams from Kathmandu District and will be played at different stadiums across the city. This promises to be an action-packed event with star players from across Nepal showcasing their skills.
Last but not least, we have the Women’s Inter-District Cricket Championship, scheduled for September. This is a great opportunity for female cricketers in Kathmandu District to showcase their talent and compete against each other. We hope to see a good turnout to support our women players and encourage the growth of women’s cricket in our city.
